The Real One

Got the same two arms on my left and right

And they've held all the other ones before

But these same two arms holding her tonight

They seem to be holding so much more

And these same two eyes that I call my own

Saw the whole world change

When I look at her you know nothing else looks the same

And this could be the real one

            Maybe it's the real one

You know the one you always hear about

            Every day about

But you never believe you'll see

I'm the same old man in the same old town

But I can feel her carry me away

And this same old heart that I call my own

Never really knew

How good it can feel when a real one is holding you

This could be the real one

            Maybe it's the real one

You know the one you always hear about

            Every day about

But you never believe you'll see
