Half Way Home

This old line that I'm on

Used to carry me away from home

But this old road only goes one way tonight

And so I put one mile behind the other

And move it down a little bit further

Bring it on baby, flyin' in the fine moonlight

Tell everybody you know I'm on my way

I want to roll all night

All night and day if it takes that long

                        I gotta go

                        Move along

Down the road to a little old lady that I call my own

I ain't got a dime to my name

I feel like a million all the same

So honey I know that I'm either in Heaven

                        Or I'm half-way home

You know I dream of her

There ain't another

Lord above

I really do love her

Bring it on baby, flyin' in the fine moonlight

Tell everybody you know I'm on my way

I want to roll all night

All night and day if it takes that long

                        I gotta go

                        Move along

Down the road to a little old lady that I call my own

I ain't got a dime to my name

I feel like a million all the same

So honey I know that I'm either in Heaven

                        Or I'm half-way home
